About the Site

Located at the southeast corner of Interstate 294 and 159th Street (IL Route 6) was approximately 125 acres of prime real estate for logistical repurposing. Spaceco was asked to undertake this massive project from start to finish under the Scannell development team. The plan included a five-story, 3.5 million SF E-Commerce fulfillment center, with a building footprint of 825,000 SF. The facility was also designed and permitted with 1,800 car parking stalls, 420 truck stalls, and 65 dock positions.
